Edgars cellphone insurance is a JOKE!!

I bought a new Blackberry from Edgars in Jan, I also added the insurance on the phone on the day that I bought it. Subsequently, I dropped my cellphone in the toilet and took it to Edgars to claim for insurance. They said I just needed to bring the cellphone & my card, so I did just that on 24 April. According to the insurance contract I have, it should take 4-6 weeks for claim to be processed. I called back every week after handing the cellphone in to follow up on the status. For 5 weeks I got told that there was nothing loaded on the system, I spoke to numerous consultants on numerous occasions (canal walk) over the phone, each person said they would follow up with 'admin' & call me back but NEVER got back to me. A lady helped me, she told me that there was no insurance loaded on my cellphone and I had to prove that I purchased insurance with the slip from the day that I bought it. I told her I didnt have it and she couldnt help me with an alternative solution. I gave her the day that i bought the phone and she managed to find my insurance slip. So they didnt even had my phone loaded on the system. This caused me unnecessary stress and I got no apology. Its been 7 weeks and still no word!
