In late Nov 2012, we paid R7000 for a Swivel Rocker leather chair from Rochesters. The salesman confirmed avail of stock as I was ordering it specifically as feeding chair & undertook to deliver within a few days, before I was due to give birth to child. On the date of delivery, I explained that there would be no-one at home after 2pm and the dispatch manager promised to deliver in the morning before 2pm. At 16h30 Rochester arrived to deliver. Not only did we have to organise someone to urgently accept delivery, but the incorrect chair was delivered! When I phoned, I was told that there was in fact no stock of the swivel rocker & it would only arrive sometime in late Jan! After various calls, they managed to find a rocker mechanism to fit onto the chair, which they finally came to install. Again, the agreed time of arrival was disregarded.
In late Jan, we realised that the recliner mechanism wouldn't slide back down w/o getting off the chair & forcefully pushing it down. I went to see Keith in Feb and he undertook a servicer would come repair it within a few days. In April, I again phoned Keith to follow up as no servicer had yet arrived. The further promise has again not been met
