No aid in resolving replacement of faulty goods

I paid for the 2 chairs in December 2012; waited for delivery end Feb 2013.
There has been a problem with the mechanism on the one chair from day one. The second chair's mechanism is busy collapsing.
This now leaves us with no chairs due to us not wanting to use them and cause further damage.
I notified the store, completed the required forms and now have been waiting since the 10th of April 2013 for THE call.
Are we waiting for the warranty to expire before Rochester deals with the matter?
We specifically chose to purchase these two units from Rochester - SPECIFICALLY; yet now I feel very let down.
I believe we have given Rochester more than enough time to resolve the matter.
