Went to Edgars Southgate to go pay my wife's Edgars Acc, got to the pay points just after 12pm & there were 2 cashiers both busy with customers & there was a customer waiting by the queue & I was the 2nd customer queuing, the lady I found in the queue made her way to the next available cashier, then the next cashier was available for me. She had to void the transaction that she was busy with so she left her till & strolled right passed me without saying a word to me, she came back strolling again while I was still waiting. Her transaction was voided and she said "next customer please", I then made my way to her & she didn't greet nor acknowledge me, I said to her "I would like to pay my wife's account" then she asked me how much, I told her the amount then she processed the transaction, she gave me the receipt and the card without saying thank you or goodbye just to make me feel welcomed. It's such people that makes South Africa one of the countries with the worst customer service ever. A simple hello, thank you or goodbye will definitely make me want to come shop again, I will be advising my wife to pay off her Edgars account and close it & I will gladly help her pay it off.
