Incorrect Pricing at till and inability to correct

I bought a food item on promotion from Woolworths (St Johns, Sea Point), and would not have taken it had it not been on promotion.

As I walked out, I checked the slip, and noticed I was charged the regular price. I went back to the till, but the cashier could not help me, and walked off to get the manager - after 10 minutes of waiting I just left, because it should not be so hard to get money back that you were incorrectly charged!!
