NO MONEY ON GIFT CARD (PART 2)

I went to CNA Sandton City on Easter Monday to use my gift card I received as a birthday present only to be told there was no money loaded on my gift card! I was furious as this branch of CNA is far from where I live and it is not (despite CNA staff not being the slightest bit interested in this fact) as easy as they make out just to "go back and try again and it should work! " What type of service is this? I DID go back to the same branch on Sunday 26/05 and guess what? The same thing happened again! When I said to the staff member at the till I am NOT leaving without my book (and I wasn't about to pay for it either!) they realised that maybe they should fix the problem! It did get sorted out in the end, BUT not before I was inconvenienced by having to wait for CNA's incompetent useless staff to do something! No apology was forthcoming either! I still await a response as to how anybody's gift card can have no money loaded onto it! Another complaint here said someone else also had the same problem! Where is my answer? and fix this unacceptable problem promptly!
