A month or 2 ago i received an email in my SPAM MAIL, it was from Edgars asking for updated details. i found it suspicious as would many others - i called the accounts department, Gentleman i spoke to confirmed it was a legit mail and that he could do the update over the phone. He confirmed everything was fine on the account. Since that call my account was never a problem, purchasing and payments were all going through, until yesterday. i went into edgars stanger and upon following a line to the till i get told my account is blocked. the cashier phones head office but puts the phone on loud speaker, does not provide proper information to the agent. the agent was not trained in my opinion. i was already furious and she did not handle the situation. i eventually hung up on her. i would like for all voice recordings on my account to be investigated to find the 1 were my details were confirmed because now it is brought to my attention that an sms was sent out - i didnt receive such informing me of blockage

in a separate instance my in-laws account limit had been decreased when she had in fact requested an increase in limit. is edcon staff that INCOMPETENT?
