Incompetent managers

On Saturday 11 May we were doing our shopping at Hypermarket as usual. We noticed that the Farmer Brown chicken fillets and schnitzels had been missing from the fridges for a few weeks. We proceeded to ask Peter, one of the managers whether Farmer brown steaklets had been discontinued. He proceeded to say that Hypermarket had never stocked these items. We told him that they did stock them and he kept arguing with us that we were incorrect. I do not appreciate being called a when we are merely asking for an answer about the status of the products. He eventually sent us to Elize who promised to establish the status of this brand and call back on Monday. Needless to say we are still awaiting a call from Elize. I do not consider this level of inefficient service acceptable. If you make a promise to a customer follow up on it - basic business acumen that should be taught to managers and lower level staff and certainly don't call customers liars (especially when Peter was incorrect).
