I went to Footgear on Monday, 13 May 2013, to take advantage of the current promotion (Combo Deal: 2 pairs for R400). Unfortunately the store did not have the size I wanted and the consultant (Devon), promised to source this from another branch, which should be in store by Friday, 17 May 2013. He promised to contact me by Friday. I never received a call from him, therefore I proceeded to contact the store thrice from just before 13h00. The product was not in-store. He promised to contact another branch (Somerset West) to find out if the product was on it's way, and then to contact me soon afterwards. I even gave him an alternate number to contact me on. I am yet to receive a call with this follow up - it is now 19h10 Friday, 17 May 2013. I was actually hoping to wear the shoes this weekend, and feel I have given him ample time to contact me. I do not feel it is my responsibility to chase up on a query if I have been promised multiple times to be contacted by the consultant. I have now completely lost faith in this consultant as well as the branch in Canal Walk.
