My parents purchased a Bambino Baby carrier for my baby shower in February. As the shower was 2 months b4 my babies birth I never got the chance to use it. When I tried to use the carrier it was so complicated, I had to return to the store for assistance. The helpful assistant suggested I bring it back and swop it for a less complicated one. I returned a day later and explained to the manager when we purchased and if it was possible to swop without having a receipt or sticker on the box. He rudely replied that the item was not purchased from this store and then insisted that this item was not sold by Baby city. Does he not know what items his own store stocks? He then said if I wanted an exchange I needed to bring some confirmation and walked away while we were still talking (as if he was in a rush to be somewhere). Few days later I returned with my dads bank statement. He now says we cannot return this item as it was more than 7 days and rudely walked away again. So why did he waste my time initially. This was embarrassing for my parents and I! We have purchased 2 travel systems from here and this is the customer service we got. I fully accept the returns policy but his attitude was unacceptable
