Defective Goods Wont Be Replaced or Refunded

I purchased a pair of shoes to the value of R700-00 on 19 April 2013. The shoes were fitted in the store and i was happy with them. I wore them a little thereafter (probably only for 6 hours continuously) and they started to stretch out of shape and started slipping off my feet. I took them back to the store on 27 April 2013 to get them replaced or refunded and the lady in store agreed that the shoes were stretched not of my own cause. The lady sent them in and i got a phone call from Marshal saying he refuses to replace them and i am to collect the damaged shoes from the store. He was very rude and abrasive towards me in this regard. I have left the shoes at the store as they are not of any use to me since they are defective and damaged. Don't buy shoes from Hush Puppies because they will sell defective goods at a high price and not offer any after sales support or exchange.
