Good day,
At requesting my free credit report, I was informed that there's an outstanding amount on my ITC for woolworths. I am quite surprised because it shows that there is a current payment being made, but also indicates an outstanding amount of R608. When I had an account with WW it used to be paid by debit order, so surely this cannot be accurate. The other thing is that this account is outstanding since 2008, no notices have been sent or attempts made to inform of the outstanding account. I have subsequently contacted your call centre only to be told this matter has been handed over to attorneys - by law this is not the correct process. I have now escalated my concern onto the NCR and ombudsman and was informed by the NCR that this falls under the prescription act. Please can you investigate, update my records and remove this negative reflection off my ITC profile. A response would be appreciated.
