I purchased 2 packs of No Name Macaroni, and when unpacking my groceries I discovered weevils in both packets. I then returned it to the store later that day, and went straight to the Customer Service Help Desk, I advised the lady behind the deck she looked in the packet she then throw it back at me and said, " Go to the cigarette counter and they will give you your money". I then went to the cigarette counter they looked in the bag and told me that as it is a Pick n Pay Product I am suppose to receive double my money back, but as Mr Ackermans signature is not on the packet I cannot get double my money back. My complaint is the firstly the poor quality of the Pick n Pay products (having weevils crawling in the food), second the poor customer service I received when returning it, there was no apology and the lady behind the counter was more interested in getting back to her conversation at the other side of the desk, and had no shame in throwing the packet back at me. Thirdly, the false advertising from Pick n Pay by telling customers that they will get double their money back when returning a Pick n Pay product. I am deeply disgusted and disappointed.
