Dion Wired
New item, opened box, saw 2nd hand goods

I went to purchase a brand new home theater system from Dion Wired. When i arrived at the store i was shown 2 players (LG & Samsung) which i was told by the salesmen that they were exactly the same, just different prices. Because of this i went for the cheaper one. When the box arrived i saw that there was less watts (350 as apposed to 500) then told by the salesmen.
Because of the mistake the salesmen showed me a 850watts player by LG and said he could give it to me at a good prices of R2 000. I thought this was very helpful and was extremely pleased with the service.
When i got home that evening to unpack the items i noticed that the polystyrene was damaged but thought nothing of it. I then noticed that the packet with the remote and user guide had been open and the battery was in the remote.
I then lifted up the dvd player to see that none of the speakers where wrapped up and the packaging was all just loosely thrown in the box.
From here i realized that the store had sold me a second hand unit. This is completely unacceptable that a store like Dionwired can sell people items which are second hand. I spent R2000 on a system which is not even new! Completely illegal & not on!!!
