Makro can't manage stock or customer expectations

I went to Alberton branch to buy a fridge and washing machine Sat 27-03-2013 & requested delivery of my items for 1-05-2013 to Roodepoort. There was plenty of existing stock of both appliances when I made my purchase.
My washing machine was delivered in the afternoon but the fridge was not - excuse being OUT OF STOCK?? I have been on the phone with Makro & the courier company for the past 2 days begging them to send me my fridge that I paid for IN FULL which was available when I bought it. I have been told either I wait or I get a display model - UNACCEPTABLE. Then they suddenly had an available fridge - I was told they could not deliver it until they had the orginal invoice which was given to me upon delivery of the washing machine. Policy apparently? Again, my options were wait or drive to Alberton to drop off the invoice (from ROODEPOORT). Eventually they sent someone to collect the invoice from me. The gent from the courier company told me Makro are selling stock they do not have & causing big problems for them.
I supposedly receive my fridge today but do not trust Makro as a brand & will NEVER go to Alberton branch again.
