CNA won't take Pritt voucher for items purchased

Yesterday I went to CNA to purchase Pritt colour pencils. The school had given me a sheet of vouchers that could be used on all Pritt purchases. When paying at the till I was informed by the cashier that the store manager had informed them (the staff) that they will not be accepting any vouchers unless they were issued by CNA. When I said to him that the vouchers came from the school and that they clearly indicated that they could be used anywhere to purchase these stationery items and they were issued to the school by Pritt themselves he just shrugged his shoulders and said 'The manager said not to accept any vouchers.'
This is surely not allowed? You go and support these outlets and then they won't accept vouchers given out by companies (Pritt) and schools? Very bad attitude by this store.
