Woolies not interested in new customers

I attemped to open a Woolies account online, in which I received no response. after calling the call centre, 10 days later, i was told that my application was declined due to there being an active account on my name. i requested for this to be investigated as i do not have an account with Woolies only to be told that this was an invite sent to me by Woolies-which i was no aware of nor did ever receive the invite card. From over a month ago to last Fri, Woolies has been unable to cancelled an invite or reopen and invite that was sent to me. Eventually i get an sms this week to say the app was successful but i need to call in to complete the process. Over the last month i have called this incompenent company over 10 times, i refuse to waste any more of my resources!!! The least that could have been done was for an agent to call me to apologise first and then complete the process. After this kind of service i do not believe that Woolies is hungry for new customers as their customer service proves this.
