CARD TRANSACTIONS WOOLIES DONT CARE

Purchase/s have been made on my Woolies in-store card at shopping centres unknown to me and I have been charged. I have been attempting to obtain copies of the signed till slips in respect of these purchases but despite my many e-mails, phone calls, faxes and visits to both Woolies Hyde Park and Sandton City, no response / action has been taken. I am forced to cancel future debit orders as I cannot, in good faith, allow Woolies to debit my bank account for purchases made in their stores when they have failed / neglected / ignored / refused my reasonable requests in relation to disputed purchases. Other customers are warned that the safety of their personal details and account information may be at risk as Woolies appear to have no security measures in place to prevent criminals utilising your account information to make purchases. Whats more, you will have to wait until month end to view your statement to see if any irregular purchases have been made on your card. I have been a Woolies customer for many years and am shocked and appalled by their absolute disregard for the precarious situation I am in - despite two requests, I am still waiting for them to BLOCK MY CARD!!
