Sunday 28-04-2013 I bought a cell phone Nokia Lumia 510 on Vodacom network at Edgars in Highpoint in hillbrow. I was told that I can return the phone should I have any problems within 7 days. I bought airtime and was checking how it works these are the problems I came across:
- Low sound I hardly hear it when it rings as a result I miss calls.
- I cannot convert airtime into data bundles
- Downloading applications is impossible
- I cannot transfer videos, music, and pictures from other devices using Bluetooth even though it has Bluetooth which makes it useless, software is incompatible, and it's not meeting my needs.
- The earphones I received also don't work which is the least of my problems relating to this phone. I went back to Edgar's 30-04-2013 with all these complaints... I spent about 45 minutes with them explained these issues and also punted the consumer protection act, they told me that is how the phone is further than that they cannot help me. I requested a refund and I was told that they cannot process that, and are unable to help me. All I want now is my money back. Edgars must be held accountable if they sell poor quality goods and refund customers.
