Top CD
Poor service and untrained staff

I have always enjoyed friendly and efficient service at Top CD branched mainly Menlyn and less frequently Kollonade. Yesterday I visited the branch at the Kollonade store to purchase The Life of Pi on Blu Ray 3D. When I inquired where I could get a copy in the store I was told by Thabang that she does not think it is available yet. When i pointed out the dvd version out to her right in front of her she said its not on 3D yet. I asked her to chech, another sales chap came along and told me its sold out. I left and then decided this did not sit well with me as i know Top CD to be more efficicient. I returned and the same chap then told me he found it he was told the dvd version, whatever that meant. I asked to see the manager and a visibly irritated manager Ronel came to tell me that Tabang is back after a long absence and that she apologises and left. When I then paid the sales assistant told me I do not have to sighn the card slip for the purchase as my name was on it. I told her it is not a chipped card I need to sighn she said not required. I then again asked to see the manager and asked her why this store operates in such a irresponsible manner with credit card payments.
