Altech Netstar is making our life a living nightmare with their constant sms to people that should not be included in this problem of their own making. We bought a Hyundai Bakkie and took insurance with African Independent. Kellyn Rossouw provided insurance which included free Altech Netstar coverage and installation. The bakkie was sold in November 2009 and we advised Kellyn to cancel all cover which she did. We were not aware that Altech Netstar was still under the impression that we needed the tracker as we were still expected to pay and also pay for another tracker to be installed in the next vehicle. We did not get any signed contract directly from Altech Netstar as everything was part of the Insurance Policy. Our main concern is that Altech Netstar allows Insurance Companies to use their services as part of their sales pitch and convince policy holders how good the deal is but in actual fact it is a complete rip-off. Altech Netstar must deal with this ongoing problem immediately as we should not be held responsible for their errors and also how do you pay for something you don't have or need. They must not call or send messages to other people as it is unfair to them.
