Billed for an account cancelled over 10yrs ago!

After obtaining quotes for a new tracker unit for my new vehicle, purchased in Dec'12, on both mine & my husbands name, we decided to go ahead with the installation in my name. Tracker somehow re-activated my husbands 10yr old cancelled Tracker account and started debiting his closed bank acc. We started receiving posted invoices & statements for R215 per month for a tracker unit he did not have & for a vehicle he sold over 10yrs ago.
Needless to say we were confused as I was paying for my installed tracker unit in my new vehicle in my name. So after many calls to the Call Centre, they assured us that there was no active vehicle on their system under my husbands name and that the account was in error. This was confirmed in writing three times already - with letters sent via email from Tracker confirming no such account and no outstanding monies. We also asked them to make sure this did not reflect badly on his credit rating, still no answer. This has now been ongoing for over 3months. I dread checking my post box now and finding another Tracker Invoice, & having to speak to the same Call Centre who cannot help, escalating this to management, who still evidently cannot help!
