Two weeks ago i had smoke/fire detectors installed at home. On 2013/12/11 i was busy in the kitchen and had both ovens on. I opened the top oven to turn the meat and the heatwave from the oven triggered the one detector in the kitchen. CHUBB was on the line even before i could enter my code to silence the alarm to
enquire if all was ok and if the fire dept should be contacted. Thanks for your great response and now at least i
know the detectors work.
