I cancelled the installation of an ADT security system due to poor service i.e. on the day of installation, no-one arrived even though I had confirmed and taken off work - there was just "no record" of my installation. This after being a loyal paying customer of ADT for 10 years at a previous residence.
I of course claimed back my deposit and this is where the shocking service and non existent communication really started.
Two months later after many emails, calls and threats of legal action and writing to newspapers I eventually got an email with a proof of deposit - TO AN UNKNOWN ACCOUNT nothing close to the banking details I had provided (three times!). My emails and calls are now being ignored. I don't know if this is just incompetence or wilful withholding of funds. From the reports I read on hellopeter I see I am not alone.
One thing I am glad of is that I am now with a competitor security company and will never again feed the greedy and indifferent "Always There" security farce.
Of course it goes without saying that MD Rob Dale is not contactable...
