Independent Technician
Poor service and job not complete

On 10 Sep 13 Anthony Hechter from Independent Technician had to install a Wireless Alarm system in my home. Gave deposit of R7 000.00 and contract said on completion of job, the outstanding R7 000.00. He came to my house the Tuesday and started installing the Wireless Alarm, whereafter an hour he asked if I kindly could give him the R7 000.00 outstanding cash, as he phoned another technician Tinus, to come and assist, and Anthony need to pay Tinus cash. I gave Anthony R7 000.00 cash. Anthony left my house and Tinus stayed behind still trying to get the new Wireless Alarm system working. After Anthony left, I got to know that ADT actually should have be on site, for them to link the system with ADT control room (Armed Response), Anthony only informed me on the situation via mobile phone at 1700hrs on Tuesday. I had to leave Pretoria the Wednesday (11 Sep 13). Wednesday I left my house without ADT Armed Response, as ADT did not have sufficient time to link the system and Anthony no longer answered his mobile phone. The job is not completed. Mailed Anthony several times, no response. Changed his mobile and do not return to complete the job. Work highly intidy.
