I have reported our faulty alarm earlier this week, details of which will be available on ADT's system. The technician did come and replaced the keypad on Wednesday 18/9/13. Although the alarm was tested, I doubt if it was tested to ensure that a beam can be bypassed, because when I wanted to activate the alarm in the evening, we had the same problem. I reported it to ADT yesterday (Richard) that it is still not working. Do not appreciate being told that "Maybe you did not explain well enough" or "Maybe if you were home.." Told a technician would only be able to attend to problem on 23/09/13, which to me is unacceptable, considering it is an existing problem that was not fully resolved. Asked to speak to customer services department to lodge a complaint, and I was told they will contact me before close of business. I am still waiting for that call. I was so desperate to actually speak to someone about the problem, that I have lodged a formal, written complaint with the ADT Sales Consultant that we usually deal with in the hope that something would come of it. I am the first one to admit that I got angry with the call centre agent, but not without reason!
