I rent a property in Hout Bay which had ADT when I moved in. A few months back I took over the security contract for the house, and I looked at a few other security companies. I was on the verge of signing with another firm, but ADT undertook to install an extra passive and remote access functionality for no charge, if I signed with them.

I did so, and 5 months later none of the work promised has been done. I have made numerous calls to query this, and get bounced around from pillar to post, always getting promised that "someone will contact me" - still waiting.

This service was sold to me under false pretences by a sales person who blatantly.

I received a quote for R1950.00 for my account, to install the features I requested.

Lying in order to win business is, and i would like someone at ADT to explain to me how a) how this practice is allowed and b) how this will be rectified to my satisfaction
