Can't cancel my contract

I have sold my vehicle which had the Tracker unit in, and now do not need it anymore. When I phoned on the 30th of May 13 I spoke to a Mpotseng who told me I was not allowed to cancel my contract, and I have to pay a Settlement Fee of R741-80. But if I phoned back at the end of June, it will be less.

So I called again on the 30th of August 13, and spoke to a Teniel, who told me I was still not able to cancel my contract and that I know have to pay a Settlement Fee of R1000-000!!! When I asked why this is now so much higher, she told me that this was how they worked it out.

I cannot understand why I should carry on paying for something I no longer have? The car I sold has probably been bought by someone else, who is also paying this Tracker, and now I should also pay for it? Please can someone explain to me why I must still pay for this and why I am not able to cancel the contract? An please explain to me how a Settlement Fee can be more two months later?
