I can't believe these people, how the can they expect me to pay an account that i closed months ago for an alarm system i no longer use because i no longer live in the property???
In November last year I phoned in to enquire about closing the account since I knew I will be moving out on the 01/12/12.I was told to write a letter and the email it .the notice period was 60day/2month so technically I would still be liable to pay for the December serves also which i fully understood.
NOW i receive a sms saying i owe them almost R3000??? then when i phoned i was told FOR THE FIRST TIME that they should have informed me initially that since my contract only expired in 2013 I have to buy out of the contract.(which does make sense) BUT why the was i not informed of this when I closed the account??? I absolutely refuse to pay for services that i no longer receive at a property I no longer stay at because some incompetent staff member did not do the job properly!!! This is not the last u will hear from me...
