NEVER, NEVER, NEVER make the mistake in signing with ADT. In May 2012 after a break I had at property I recently moved in I decided to activate ADT as the alarm system was already installed and only needed activation to their control room to despatch units if needed. After the "sales rep" promised that our contract would be a month to month contract due to no new equipment being installed we signed. At the end of September 2012 we decided to move out of the property and phoned ADT to inform that we would like to cancel as we are moving and that the debit order should be cancelled. WHAT A SURPRISE NO CANCELLATION! Every time the alarm went off we would continue getting calls, we phoned again in Novemebr to cancel where we were informed to put the cancellation in writing. So just for incompetence ADT gained another month they believe they should get money for.
