No password to be given to ADT security any longe

HI there

I just want to report an incident whereby one of the ADT security came to inspect my place today, due to.

He did his report and asked me for my password, and only after giving him the password when he requested it, I remembered that we are not allowed to give our passwords to ADT security any longer, and they should have their keypad (or whatever you call it) with them, and I was supposed to type in my password.

He acknowledged that I was correct, as I told him that I was not supposed to have given him the password without that instrument.

He said his instrument was faulty! Why does ADT give him a faulty instrument to carry out his duties?

Please advise soonest.
