Paying non existing contract

Good day
I had tracking device installed on my vehicle and I sold it year installing the device. I wanted them to cancel the installment after selling the car last September. I was told that I can't stop the debit order as I have contract with them. I decided to continue paying the device even though it was not used since last year till today. I called them today to ask about my last installment they are saying they can't find any info regarding my car.
I started the contract with them on the 06th of August 2011. All I wanted now was the date of my last installedment but I was told they can't find any info regarding the car on their system.
Vehicle registration number is vxz 545 GP.
