SYSTEM NOT ACTIVE & DEBIT ORDER STILL GOING OFF

Two years ago I signed up with ADT.

From day one, the system did not work and we requested the technical division to send someone to resolve the problem.

After numerous requests, we wanted to cancel the contract, but were told our contract is signed for a period of two years (the fine print was so fine, even the agent could not read it properly)

It is two years & R 8400 in monthly installments later and still the system is not active.

Contractually we were able to cancel our agreement, yet still the debit order is going off on my bank account.

We lodges a complaint and ADT assured us they will get back to us within 24 hours. It is 4 days later...

I just spent an hour on the phone trying to get hold of the lady who is suppose to be dealing with our account, Tashlene du Toit, only to be told, she left for lunch.

I would really appreciate if this complaint will be sent to ADT and if someone will contact me.
