Kong Night Clu
At Kong Nightclub in Rosebank

I called Kong Nightclub in Rosebank to book the VIP area for a birthday. I told them that I had heard there were race issues, and could they just confirm that this was not an issue. The bookings person (contact on the website) told me that yes he wont they do manipulate the crowd to keep a certain standard, ie me being an Indian person might not be allowed in, I didn't realise that Indian people lower the standards of a place. I then asked him if it would still be an issue if I booked VIP and paid a deposit in advance (yes Indian people can afford that too), he told me again that he wont that would cause quite a stir. I am shocked that in 2014, a place in South Africa would be so, not to mention so openly. This is the first time in my 28 years that I have been treated in such a way, would of expected that in 94 not in this day where we are present ourselves as a rainbow nation
