Disconnection fee for account paid on time!!!

I make payment for two dstv accounts which I pay for without fail every month on the 25th, although my payment is due on the 26th. My one account was disconnected on the 28th. I contacted the call center for assistance and they confirmed payment was received on the 25th however it cleared in their ABSA account on the 28th and now i'm liable for a disconnection fee of R40.57. How does this even makes sense? Why is the one account disconnected and the other not?? This is unacceptable
