Bad service

This was my first time that I stayed at the Cascades Hotel in Sun city & it was an overall unsatisfying experience. This hotel is supposed to be one of SA's 5 star hotel however it does not offer 5 star service. The restaurants in the hotel leaves much to be desired. I ate at both the Peninsula Restaurant and Santorini & they both had their faults. At Santorini, the food was average but the level of service from both the waiters & restaurant management was terrible and no one bothers to come to the table to assist when called for. The food at the Peninsula was below average & seemed like they had given stale breads and what appeared to be re-heated food. Also the quality of the starters were so bad that we opted to not even eat the main course & left.
Further the concierge at the Cascades was very unhelpful - we asked them to book dinner for us at the Palace and they didn't inform us that there are multiple restaurants to choose from & merely booked us in at he buffet restaurant (Crystal Court) & all the other restaurants were fully booked so we actually left the Palace. When we got back to the Cascades & informed the night concierge, he merely said he can't assist. Terrible servi
