Smoke in movie theatre

Went to the movies Friday evening. Upon entering Ster Kinekor the whole movie complex looked misty and smokey. It was smelling like Inside Spur. Inside the movie it was even worse being in a confined space. Despite the aircon being on full blast it was still very smokey. Even before the movie started my eyes started watering and burning and I knew for a fact that there was no way that I can sit through a movie in circumstances like that!

My husband and I left the movie and spoke to the manager on duty. Maria informed us that this problem is a constant problem and there have been complaints by various individuals. According to her the centre management and Ster Kinekor head office is aware of the problem but it seems as if it is not important enough for something to be done about it!

This is rather unfortunate as it is the closest cinema to us!

Maria ensured that we got re-admission vouchers and dealt with the complaint very professionally.

This unfortunately did not take care of my swollen eyes and disappointment on having to come home early after plannning a movie date with my husband for a week!

Very disappointed in the attitude of Ster Kinekor management!!!
