I spoke to the owner and the booking agent to book a taxi to pick 10 of us up from Rain Farm on the 14th December at 12:30/01:00. The taxi was confirmed but we had to pay R500 upfront - which we did. At 12:45 in the morning on the 14th December we phoned shashi's taxi to find out where they are. We spoke to a man named Peter to ask where they were (1:30am) he told us to get on a plane and fall off. He told us their driver had gotten stuck in the mud as we gave him the wrong directions (we had never given them any directions as they said they knew where the Rain farm wedding venue was) At 2:00am we phoned dolphin taxi's to pick us up. In the days following the 14th, myself and my friends have messaged and phoned shashi's to demand they give us our money back but they have refused. We went to shashi's and refused to leave until they payed us, they then threatened to phone the police. I have my cell phone record and my friends phone records of all the calls that were made as well as a copy of the messages. We have still not got out R500 back or an apology. should we not get our R500 back by the new year we are going to the consumer council.
