Fed up with broken decoders

Recreation & Entertainment

I purchased a HDPVR 2P decoder in Dec 2011
I purchased a second HDPVR 2P decoder in April 2012 for extraview.
in Jul 2012 the first decoder's harddrive started packing up just out of warranty - DSTV wanted R510 to swap it. I rather sold it and bought the new Explora (person I sold it to was aware of the fault).
Last week the second decoder's harddrive packed up again just out of warranty, and the Explora was also giving problems - took both into DSTV Umhlanga branch. Spent over 2 hours in store, they swapped the Explora and tried to fix the 2P. Took the 2P home and on Mon it started with the same problem.
I pay R725 per month for my subscriptions and am not prepared to pay R510 to get the 2P replaced, don't care that its no longer in warranty It is not acceptable that three decoders I have bought in a 2 year period all give hassles.
Also tired of programming issues- Bachelor info bar last two weeks hasn't matched what was screened; How I Met Your Mothers episodes screened out of order, SYTYCD episodes screened out of order, SYTYCD scheduled end time too early by 15 min so doesn't record entire program. All reported to your @DStvCare twitter account, all I get is apologies.
