Multichoice
Incorrect charging and down right disception

I purchased two new HD decodes on 28th Oct 2013. The sales consultant said that each would come with a free "dstv walker". Even though I said I had no need for these, he's insisted they came as a combo and that ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGE would be levied for either walker. I asked him 3 times and each time he confirmed there would be no charge. Imagine my surprise when later that day on my statement of account a charge of R1500 appeared for two dstv walkers. When I contacted multichoice call centre they told me to settle the account. What a disgraceful outrageous. What's more, I paid for the two decodes on my credit card and 24 hours later it was charged again on my statement of account. Multichoice are nothing but incompetent, deceptive who take advantage of their monopolistic position in the market. They are an utter embarrassment of an organisation and if charges are not reversed I will have no hesitation in taking them to the Consumer Council and suing them in a small claims court.
