Beginning of September 2013, we had TopTV installed which worked perfectly until the last week of September when we experienced some picture freezing. We did not think much of it at the time and went to pay for the month of October (pre-pay) However after making a few inquiries as to why our service is not switched on, we were told that its a technical problem and that the installer will come and fix. The installer arrived today the 9th of October and told us that he will have to move the dish since there's a tree blocking the signal and that we will have to pay the R250 call-out fee. I however did not agree with this as he was supposed to take trees etc. into consideration when he did the installation (he was the original installer) he then told me that it's nature's problem and he must get paid. I contacted customer service and although the lady initially agreed with me, she changed her story after talking to the installer, saying I will have to pay the R250 (There is a 2-month installation guarantee, but my pre-paid subscription fee cannot be refunded) We are not installers, we pay to watch and things like trees, buildings etc. should be considered before installations are done.
