I reconnected my dstv decoder in November 2012. I made a payment and mailed the proof of payment. In December I was billed for 2 months as the first payment was showing in arrears. After numerous calls in January 2013 and every month thereafter - had no joy. I have to call the call centre and have to speak to numerous call centre staff having to repeat myself - approx 20-30 minutes of cell phone bills every month. Finally in August I was told the amount I paid in December was diver into someone elses account and this would be rectified. Every month I got charged reconnection fees. I asked for recon on the account - (you need to be an accountant to understand the bill). I was put on hold for about 15 minutes everytime I queried - and was told a manager was going to call me (they dont do outbound calls)- managers seem to be non existant or incompetentent. I asked to be reimbursed for my calls - I was told to give my cell phone and landline bills for the last 10 months- approx R150 was going to be deducted (?) even though I threatened to complain on hellopeter/social media, no change in their pathetic service or are in hurry to resolve the issue- magic has dissappeared
