Discount card don't work if you are a foreigne

My husband and I have Ster Kinekor discount cards through Discovery Vitality. We are non South Africans and use a passport as our form of ID. The computer program that processes the discount for Discovery Vitality uses the ID number to calculate your age (since South African ID numbers begin with a date of birth) and thinks that we are under 12 years old and as a result refuses to allow us to purchase any movie tickets! We have complained about 12 times to managers at a variety of different Ster Kinekor branches (rosebank Nouveau, Rosebank Zone, and others) and even called Sterk Kinekor's IT helpline for assistance. This has been going on for over a year. As a result we are unable to purchase movie tickets at a discount and have to pay full price each time. Since we go to the movies weekly this amounts to thousands of Rands per year. It drives us crazy that we can't use the discount card and if we can't find a solution I think we will stop going to Sterk Kinekor theatres and rather go to another company. Why bother signing up (and paying!) for a discount card we can't use!
