PVR Decoders don't work properly on single LNB

Purchased a DSTV PVR recorder/ decoder and as per the box would operate on a single LNB Installed the unit in place of my current Decoder. Guess what the PVR does not function correctly if using a single LNB! No program guide No record function no pause. In fact all it is supposed to do it doesn't! The only thing is you can get a picture and the channel grid. Should have stayed with my old decoder just poured 1400 Rand for nothing
I phoned them guess what they told me to look at the website. That also states that it will work on a single LNB.
None of the literature tells you that it doesn't do what it advertises if you have a single LNB. Totally disgusted with it!
