On the 5th April 2013 I cancelled my DSTV as I no longer required the service, my subscription included Insurance which from a logical point of view apart from the cancellation part, would not be required if I no longer had use of the decoder.
From then until now, despite a number of promises, I have still not been refunded the over paid subs. Even one of their Supervisors sent an internal email instructing the insurance dept to cancel the policy -apparently I have not been refunded because "THEY" have not cancelled the insurance.
I cannot believe how unethical and underhanded they can be.
I am going to be escalating this to the Insurance Ombudsman as well as FSB as this is taking my money when there is no service.
I will also be handing this over to an Attorney and all costs will be for Multichoice.
I now want the subs plus interest refunded to me by Close of Business 26th June 2013 - failing which I will be taking the above action.
My payment was always there when you ran the debit order but clearly you are unable to reciprocate the basic business principal.
