T5 does not climb walls but drives you up the wall

I was given a zodiac T5 for Xmas. It would not climb the walls of the pool. Sahid for Port Elizabeth arranged a replacement with a G2 .The old workhorse works like a charm BUT it only comes with 6 hoses whilst the T5 had 7 But nevertheless what an improvement
