We sent the agent an email on 10/01/2013 asking why we had not received a water and electricity account and were told it would be sorted out. On 25/01/2013 we came home from work to find our electricity had been disconnected. When we finally got hold of the agent who only deals with her clients via sms, she informed us that she was away for the weekend and could only help us on Monday. I was freaking out as it was my sons 11th birthday the following day and we had 16 children coming for a playstation party. I had to cancel this and had a very unhappy child. Long story short, we had no electricity for the following 12 days because there was an outstanding water bill of R35 000 odd rands from 2011, for the previous tenant or owner. We had to throw everything in our fridge and freezer away, had to eat out etc. Wakefields take no responsibilty and are rude and defensive when i try to enquire who is responsible to reimburse me for the losses incurred due to this. I have been ignored and grossly mistreated and I havnt even done anything wrong. Disgusting treatment wakefields, you do not stand by your logo! You are typical bullies. Beware tenants and landlords!
