Belvedere Retirement Village

Real Estate

My parents bought into the Belvedere group, Wilgeheuwel a couple of years ago, when it was still in the development stages. Due to I'll health, my father was taken into a frail care centre in November 2017. Mom stayed on till about June 2018. The cancellation of the life rights was given back in October 2018.
The unit was sold according to the agent in January 2019.
The agent ducks and dives answering questions about the sale. O yes she gets a 7% commission on the deal. Which she most probably has spent by know. In the meantime a year later still no payment has been received, no information forthcoming.
How do they expect the older generation to survive when they withhold the money that they paid in full to Belvedere, and then on top of it all my parents out of there own good will, when the developer asked if they can help with a amount of money, they did.
This is a bloody disgrace that they can do this to the old people. My father has since past away. A poor man, my mother is battling to keep head above water, but the members of the belvedere group are living in luxury
