Landlords of KARELIZE fail to pay deposit back

This complaint is against CHIARA COWNLEY from RAWSON properties and GERALDINE and GEORGE LEACH from KARELIZE self-catering units. Before actually engaging with the first, we should have checked HELLOPETER.COM, as we now see there are already plenty complaints against the first. We might have avoided the trouble we have now.
We rented a furnished unit from KARELIZE in Edenglen for 14 months and 1 day. When we vacated the unit in October 2013, the landlords failed to pay the deposit in full.
The rent for the unit was R 8500. The agent, CHIARA COWNLEY from RAWSON, informed us in writing that the rent was to be increased by R 1500 from DECEMBER 2013. We vacated in November 2013, prior to the increase. However, the landlords, GERALDINE and GEORGE LEACH, saw it fit to deduct R 1500 from the deposit as a so called short payment for the rent of October. GERALDINE and GEORGE LEACH or their agent CHIARA COWNLEY from RAWSON have to date failed to explain this unlawful act
