SHOCKING SERVICE FROM REMAX TABLE VIEW

If you are considering purchasing a home through Remax in Table View, think again.
We purchased a home through "Team Eco" at Remax Property Associates where the seller of the house concealed major defects to the property to hide damp and leaks. We placed registration on hold whilst we obtained reports from professionals. These include major defects to hide leaks and damp problems, certain improvements that were not approved, falsified certificates etc. We followed the correct channels and lodged a complaint with Remax. When we made contact with them to ascertain the outcome of their meeting we were told that they don't have anything to say to us we should speak to their attorney. Did you know that "their attorney" De Abreu and Cohen Inc owns 50% shares in Remax and that they handle all transfers for Remax? Talk about conflict of interest. The seller of the property decided to cancel the deal a month later. They are refusing to pay our money back or to provide us with a statement of account. They are trying to evict us from the property. Also Marie Lou Gillespie of De Abreu and Cohen who is representing the seller took the law into her own hands and paid our deposit to the seller!!
